A Game of Boxes

IMAG0014.jpg on Flickr.

Our worldly possessions arrived on finally. Many of the boxes didn’t quite look as we had left them, however damage has so far only gone as far as one picture frame glass and my PC. The oversized CPU Cooler had taken a knock, presumably from a drop, and crashed into the graphics card. So I’m using an old card, and a new CPU cooler, and all seems well. Can now spend some time upstairs in our own space, rather than having to invade my parent-in-laws downstairs area all the time which is helping to make things feel more like day to day living, than just like we are staying with Linda’s parents.
Of course, this now means we now have a hell of a lot of boxes to find space for, how two people can amass so much in just 38 shorts years I don’t know, guess that’s double income no kids for you 😉

Turbines

Something quite Sci-Fi about wind turbines and the moon together. on Flickr.

The sight of traditional farm buildings of timber and stone, next to the sleek futurisic look of wind turbines, with the crescent of moon above fills me with the wonder of science fiction. Such a potential image of colonisation should we ever succeed in venturing out into the stars.

Days rolling into one

Another day of painting and gardening on . Guest wing is getting there slowly but surely though still needs some plumbing work carrying out which is a bit beyond me. Hopefully we can finish it soon and take the pressure off. At least with our space upstairs we can work it to our own schedule which given our stuff isn’t arriving until about the 26th now there’s no hurry.
