Back in the saddle
Yesterday was my first real riding day of the year. I haven’t been out since August 2013, I’m not sure why I stopped so early on. I think maybe I used the cycling as relaxation from the seven days a week work, and once that slackened off it lost the draw. But is certainly felt good to get out again and test the legs, which thankfully held out and haven’t caused me too much discomfort…

A Chilled Walk
With the weather holding, and the chill wind not so biting, we took to the local hills for a walk in the woods there. Snow still lay on the pathways, and the trees only hinted at life, but it was good to be out in nature once again.

Table Top Day 2013 We played a fair few games yesterday in honor of the first ever Table Top Day. Reminded us of how much we enjoy co-op games. Will have to seek out more. Also we’ve decided to dedicate one evening a week to playing, so we don’t become as rusty on the rules as we were before yesterday!
